Man dies after alleged stabbing in Sydney's inner west

A man has died after an alleged stabbing in Sydney's inner west overnight.
Emergency services were called to a unit in Forbes Street in Newtown after reports of an assault about 7pm last night.
A man believed to be in his 60s had injuries to his torso and died at the scene.

Investigations into the incident are on going.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
