Search for missing Sydney man who never picked child up from after school care in Bankstown

A search is underway for a Sydney man reported missing after he failed to pick up his child from after school care.

Joseph Casagrande, 51, was last seen in the Bankstown area about 1.30am on Monday.

His family reported him missing about 6.30pm that same day when he failed to collect his child from after school care at 5pm, NSW Police said.

There are grave concerns for his welfare due to his mental state.

Joseph’s vehicle, a white Toyota Hilux registration number BVO30E, has not been seen since his disappearance.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 180cm tall with short brown hair and a medium build. He is known to wear dark sunglasses.
