Police have seized a cache of weapons, including three assault rifles and almost 1500 rounds of ammunition, during an operation targeting gun crimes in western Sydney.
Officers from Operation Talon assisted by Strike Force Raptor uncovered the firearms in Blacktown, connected to a motorcycle gang, after a tip-off.
Police seized a Colt AR 15 .223 assault rifle; two SKS .762 assault rifles; a sawn-off .22 Ruger rifle and suppressor; a Bentley 12-gauge shotgun.
The raid was part of an operation targeting gun crimes in western Sydney. NSW Police
They also found a Beretta 9mm pistol; a Glock 19 9mm pistol; a Viking 9mm pistol; a number of magazines and 1480 rounds of ammunition.
The weapons are undergoing ballistics and forensic analysis.
Investigations are continuing.
