Grave concerns for the welfare of Sydney teenager missing for 13 days

Police are appealing to the public for help following the disappearance of a 13-year-old in Sydney’s west.
Christopher Close was last seen at his family home on Lord Street in Fairfield West at 11.30pm on Wednesday January 2, marking 13 days since the teen has been missing.
Police from Fairfield City Police Area Command have been unable to locate him after a search of the area.
The teenager’s parents and police hold concerns for Christopher’s welfare.
Police are urging any member of the public who has seen Christopher or believes they know of his whereabouts to contact them immediately.
The 13-year-old is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, is 155cm tall and has a slim build.
He has short black hair and brown eyes, and has been known to frequent the Marrickville area.
