Bones discovered at construction site at Sydney home

A chilling discovery has been made at a construction site in Sydney's north.

Police were called to a house on North Harbour Road in Balgowlah yesterday after reports bones had been found.

It is understood neighbours said it was a skull, however police would not confirm.

"The remains will undergo forensic examination to determine if they are human and assist with identification," police told 9News.

The construction site has been cordoned off.
