Sydney man in court over steroids and cash, after violent abduction call-out
A NSW man will appear in court today charged with drug and proceeds of crime offences, linked to a violent assault and abduction incident in Sydney's west earlier this year.
NSW Police were alerted on April 6 after a man was reportedly abducted from the front of a unit complex at Northmead.
The next day police searched the missing 35-year-old man's Northmead apartment.

Officers allegedly discovered more than $50,000 cash, two money counting machines and steroids.
Just before 9pm, police found the man on a street in Northmead, with injuries to his face and body.

After what NSW Police described as "extensive inquiries", the man was arrested at Castle Hill Police Station on July 7.
He was charged with possess prohibited drug and deal with property proceeds of crime.

The man was granted conditional bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
Investigations under Strike Force Olliff are continuing.
