Man cut in the neck with chainsaw in Sydney's south
A man is being treated by paramedics after he was cut in the neck with a chainsaw in Sydney's south.
Ambulance crews were called to Canonbury Grove in Bexley North just after 9am to reports a man had been injured by a chainsaw.

It is understood the man's chainsaw had kicked back, striking him in the neck.
The 32-year-old victim was working with a group of people to cut down a tree.
The man suffered injuries to his neck and arm and was treated at the scene before being taken to St George Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

"There was initially some heightened stress at the scene, NSWPF and our paramedics were able to calm the atmosphere," Inspector David Stride from NSW Ambulance said.
"With potential involvement of major blood vessels and the man's airway, our paramedics moved quickly to assess for life threatening lacerations."
"Sometimes accidents like these do occur, so we advise that you always remain vigilant and wear your protective gear."
He was taken to St George Hospital in a serious but stable condition with wounds to his neck and arm. 9News
