Beach erosion on NSW coast leaves residents on edge
Residents living along the NSW coast are on edge after days of extreme surf have caused significant erosion leaving homes exposed to the elements.
Residents in the suburb of Wamberal on the NSW Central Coast are concerned their homes may slip into the ocean after extreme surf conditions over the last few days eroded the beach.
One resident took matters into their own hands resorting to craning in concrete blocks for reinforcement overnight.

Powerful surf conditions are forecast again today with a hazardous surf warning in place for Byron, Coffs, Macquarie, Hunter, Sydney, Illawarra Coast, Batemans Bay and Eden coasts.
Large swells are also on the cards for beaches in south-east Queensland today with the weather system battering NSW is expected to be felt as far north as Fraser Island.
