Eleven people have been arrested after police said they had disrupted a Sydney-based criminal syndicate and seized a cannabis haul worth more than $3 million. Detectives investigating an organised crime group involved in cannabis cultivation and money laundering seized 456 cannabis plants, 22kg of cannabis and $330,000 in cash after executing seven search warrants and four crime scene warrants in Sydney's southwest on Wednesday morning. Six men and two women were arrested during the operation and all were charged and refused bail to appear in Sydney courts on Thursday. NSW Police said another three men had previously been charged in Queensland, one in December and the other two in February.
