Sydney cop faces court over sexual assault charges
A Sydney police officer has fronted court today to face sexual assault charges.
Detective Glen Coleman, 55, is accused of sexually assaulting a victim whose case he was assigned to investigate.
Court papers allege the offending took place at multiple locations between February and May this year.

At the time, Coleman was attached to the Sex Crimes Squad and the alleged victim is a 19-year-old woman.
He's been charged with sexual intercourse without consent, three counts of sexual touching, and misconduct in public office.
Coleman appeared via video link at Penrith Court on Friday.

His employment with the NSW Police force is under review and he currently remains suspended with pay.
He is yet to enter a plea.
