Sydney bus driver jailed over crash that killed two delivery riders

A Sydney bus driver has been jailed for at least two years over a crash that killed two food delivery riders.

Luis Rojas, 50, was driving a bus south on Kingsgrove Road in Kingsgrove when he hit a scooter carrying two men, also travelling south, in January last year.

The crash killed Chen Guan Wei and his passenger Su-Po Hsu.

The jury were earlier shown CCTV from the bus at three minutes and 25 seconds before the crash.

Mr Rojas was seen grabbing a USB cable, reading a piece of paper, touching the ticket machine, repeatedly attempting to put on his seatbelt, and picking up his mobile phone to put music on.
