Parents of non-verbal boy found alone in Sydney's west located

The parents of a young non-verbal boy who was found alone in Sydney's west have been located.

At around 9am this morning, officers in Blacktown were called to the intersections of Bungarribee and Reservoir Road after a boy was located alone on the street.

Police subsequently spoke to neighbours and members of the public in the area, but were initially unable to locate the parents.

His parents were subsequently located at around midday today.
