Suspicious fire destroys hall at disused North Parramatta school

A hall at a disused school in North Parramatta has been destroyed by fire overnight.

Emergency Services were called to reports of a fire in the disused school grounds on the corner of Kissing Point Road and James Ruse Drive about 12.40am.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze, but the school hall was destroyed.

No one was injured in the fire.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established, but investigators are treating the fire as suspicious and are expected to examine the scene later today.
