Year-old footage displaying a Perth driver's unfortunate lack of spatial awareness during a trip through a drive-thru is has emerged online.

Video of the incident, which occurred at a Red Rooster outlet in Midvale, shows the fellow attempting to negotiate the tight turn between the ordering speaker and the delivery window, but the simple manoeuvre is somewhat complicated by the large trailer he is towing.

The ungainly accoutrement smashes into the colorbond fence skirting the driveway, prompting the hapless bloke to try a few different moves, including reversing, to extricate himself from the embarrassing predicament.

Needless to say, he only makes things worse, trashing a section of the fence and keeping the driver behind, Keith Patterson, with nothing to do but film the unfolding dog's breakfast.

Eventually the ute-driver manages to mount the curb and make it to his waiting order.
