Student assaulted in public attack

Police have charged a man over the indecent assault of a young boy who was walking with his schoolmates in Sydney's southwest.
Police say the eight-year-old was walking with students near a park in Yagoona around 1pm (AEDT) on Tuesday when he was grabbed by an unknown man.
It's believed the boy's teacher, who was nearby at the time, told the students to get away from the man before calling police.
