Stuart Highway fatal crash: One dead and another fighting for life

A passenger has died and another is fighting for life, following a crash in South Australia's far north.
Police and paramedics were called to the Stuart Highway about 45 km north of Pimba after a four wheel drive and a campervan collided at about 6.30pm last night.
A passenger in the rear of the campervan died at the scene, while a second person was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition.

Three people were taken to the nearest hospital in Port Augusta with non-life threatening injuries.
Major Crash Officers are now investigating what lead to the deadly collision.
