Masked e-scooter rider holds up Melbourne post office with large knife
A masked man used a large knife to hold up a post office in Melbourne's north-west before he fled the scene on an e-scooter.
Footage showed the man waving a carving knife at the workers at the post office on Napier Street in Strathmore as a customer stood beside him at the counter about 10.20am on March 31.
He then forced a staff member to open the cash register and empty the contents into his backpack before he fled on an e-scooter he had left in the store's doorway.

The two members of staff and customers in the store were not physically injured during the incident.
Police have released CCTV, a witness' phone footage and images of a man as they try to track him down.
He is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance with a solid build and was wearing a black helmet, light-coloured Elwood hoodie, black pants, black backpack, black gloves, dark face covering and sunglasses.
He was riding a Dualtron Eagle electric scooter which is missing the front guard.
He was last captured on CCTV on Pascoe Vale Road in Pascoe Vale.
Anyone who recognises the man or who witnessed the incident is urged to contact police.
