Stafford Brothers video 'trashed LA pad'

Crushed booze cups bobbing in the pool, partygoers passed out on the floor, a roaming kangaroo.

The Stafford Brothers stage a fine hangover for their 'Hello' music video.

But the Gold Coast DJs are now dealing with a proper headache after the owners of the lavish Los Angeles home where the video was shot decided to sue.

According to celebrity gossip site TMZ, the owners want Chris and Matt Stafford to pay $US125,000 ($144,000) in repairs and punitive damages for violating the terms of their lease and leaving the place in such a mess.

The lawsuit's list of gripes include the "illegal" service of alcohol, pouring liquid nitrogen in the house, installing a skate ramp and allowing a live kangaroo (which is seen wearing a studded leather belt) to hop around the property.

The music video, which features Lil Wayne, begins by showing the "morning after" a big house party before rewinding through the wild night that led them there.

'Hello', the debut release for the Stafford Brothers, was a big hit on the Australian dance club scene late last year, reaching number one on the Australian artist singles chart.
