Teenage boy charged over alleged stabbing in Sydney

A teenager will face court today, charged over the alleged stabbing of two boys in Sydney's south-west.

Two teenagers - aged 16 and 15 - suffered multiple wounds during the alleged attack at Mount Annan yesterday.

Police were called to Birriwa Reserve on Fitzpatrick Road following reports of a fight just before 6pm.

Police have been told a 16-year-old boy suffered two stab wounds during the brawl.

A second boy, aged 15, is reported to have been walking through the park when he was confronted and stabbed, suffering multiple wounds.

Both teens were picked up and taken to Campbelltown Hospital where they remain in a stable condition.

A short time later, a 15-year-old boy was arrested in the backyard of a home on O'Brien Street and charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The Hinchinbrook teen will face children's court today.
