Hunt for reveller with man-bun after sex assault in mosh pit

Police are looking for a man with a distinctive hairstyle after a woman was sexually assaulted at a St Kilda festival on the weekend.

It is believed the female victim was in the mosh pit at the main stage of Listen Out Festival, held on Jacka Boulevard, on Saturday night.

At about 8pm, an unknown male approached the woman and began dancing behind her.

She tried to move away, but he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her towards him. He then grabbed her by the neck, put his hand inside the woman’s clothing and sexually assaulted her.

She managed to elbow the assailant in the face, and ran away to call police.

Investigators are now searching for a man described as being Caucasian with ginger-coloured hair.
