St George customers charged hundreds in ATM technical glitch

St George customers have been charged hundreds of dollars for ATM withdrawals, after a technical glitch affected the bank.

Customers who used the ATMS this afternoon were charged the same amount they withdrew.

The disgruntled customers have taken to social media to complain online.

One person said they took out $500 and was charged another $500.

Another man wrote on Facebook he was left “$150 out of pocket”.

The company has apologised for the glitch and said customers will be automatically reimbursed.
