Spotlight on TB in Sydney

A former architect who lost her sight to drug-resistant tuberculosis is now trying to save the lives of others.

Eloisa "Louie" Zepeda from the Philippines will join health experts at a Sydney conference on Monday to discuss the latest research and treatments into the disease that hits nine million people each year.

"I may not design buildings anymore, but I can help improve people's lives," she said.
