A chemical spill is causing major delays on Melbourne's Monash Freeway.
The freeway is closed outbound between Stud Road and Heatherton Road after a truck leaked about 200 litres of an unknown chemical onto the road, a CFA spokeswoman said.

"It's unclear what those chemicals are," the spokeswoman said.
"We've put out an advice people telling people there is no threat but there will be significant delays."
