Police search for men after armed robbery at Adelaide CBD hotel

Police are looking for two men after a robbery at an Adelaide CBD hotel.

Police said one man armed with a sawn-off shotgun entered a Hindley Street hotel, threatened staff, and stole money from the till.

A second man armed with a machete stood out the front of the hotel, before both men drove off in a blue Holden Commodore sedan before 5.30am today.

The offender armed with the shotgun is described as being Caucasian and about 183cm tall, wearing a black bandana covering his face and a black hat.

The second offender is described as being Aboriginal, aged in his 20s and was wearing a black Adidas jumper.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.

The Commodore was spotted heading west on Hindley Street.

CCTV cameras followed the vehicle which made its way to Port Road and was last seen heading north on South Road.
