Masked intruders claiming to be police attack woman in home invasion in Adelaide
Two masked intruders claiming to be police have allegedly stormed inside an Adelaide home and attacked a woman overnight.
The victim told 9News she was struck multiple times with a baseball bat before the offenders allegedly stole her mobile phone and took off.
Police say a man and woman forced their way into a home in Cuming Street, Mile End and assaulted the two occupants just before 3am, Monday morning.

The 35-year-old victim, Tash, said she was left battered, bruised, and bloodied after the alleged attack.
"I heard (my dog) barking and I heard banging, and got to the hallway and heard 'police'," she said.
"I thought it was the cops, so I just touched the door, they came in."
Tash said the male offender broke her nose after striking her across her head.
Her house guest was also attacked.

"I was trying to figure out what was happening, I was more stunned than anything. I was just like what and then I got hit and I was like this is not a joke no more," Tash said.
After allegedly stealing her phone, the offender left on foot.
Police said they don't believe it was a random attack and an investigation is in its early stages.
