Son charged with murder after father 'stabbed to death' in Perth’s south-east

A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder over the alleged stabbing death of his father in Perth last night.

Police were called to the home in Cohuna Drive, Armadale about 10pm, and found the 50-year-old man with stab wounds.

He was taken to Armadale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The son has been refused bail and is due to appear in court tomorrow morning.

Forensic police are examining the property.
