First Thredbo snowfall tipped to fall

The first "significant" snowflakes of the season are expected to fall in Thredbo on Tuesday night.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast an 80 per cent chance of rain or snow in the NSW alpine region, with temperatures dropping to minus-one degree and "snow showers" expected on Wednesday morning.
Thredbo Resort staff will camp out at the top of Mount Kosciuszko in anticipation of the snowfall.
