Small business wants Turnbull back

Small business hopes Malcolm Turnbull can continue to lead a moderate government, even if it means drawing support from independent MPs.

With the outcome of Saturday's federal election far from clear, the Council of Small Business of Australia's biggest concern is a union-backed Labor or the far right of the Liberal party securing power.

"All of a sudden you will have the economy run by three unions and 10 businesses and we'll all be in trouble, that's my fear," CEO Peter Strong told Sky News on Monday.
