Small business tax break to be extended
AAP
Small businesses are expected to win an extension of a tax break which allows them to claim an instant tax deduction for purchases worth up to $20,000.
The instant asset write-off was due to expire on June 30, but could be extended for at least a year in Tuesday night's federal budget.
"Small business can be assured that they'll continue to have our support," Treasurer Scott Morrison told The Australian.
