Slipper tops gold pass spenders

Former federal MP Peter Slipper spent almost $15,000 on taxpayer-funded travel over the past six months.
New figures published by the Finance Department showed Mr Slipper, the former Speaker, topped the list of spending by ex-MP life gold pass holders from January to June 2015.
Former Labor minister Chris Evans was the next highest spender, clocking up $8300.
