Arrests and evictions as ugly scenes unfold at Mundine v Green match in Adelaide
Six people were arrested and at least four people evicted during the blockbuster boxing match between Anthony Mundine and Danny Green at Adelaide Oval last night.
Video obtained by 9NEWS shows security staff pinning one man to the ground after one of several brawls inside the venue.
Police said six people were arrested for disorderly conduct among the 27,000 patrons who witnessed Green controversially emerge victorious after 10 rounds.
One female streaker was tackled to the ground after she ran on to the oval during the match.
Four members of a bikie gang were also identified in the venue, and removed by police.
Earlier, three people were refused entry for having ties to both South Australian and interstate crime groups.
Adelaide Oval management has declined to reveal the total number of evictions.
Despite the multiple violent incidences, South Australia’s Minister for Tourism Leon Bignell called the event “terrific”.
“Last night was terrific for South Australia it really put us on the map again... in a different way.”
