Six evacuated from Vic Hungry Jack's fire

Customers have had to be evacuated as fire took hold in a Melbourne fast food outlet.

The fire caused about $250,000 worth of damage to the Hungry Jack's restaurant in Taylors Lakes on Thursday evening, an MFB spokesman said.

No-one was injured.

Forty-two firefighters took about 45 minutes to control the blaze.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
