Six arrested amid unrest in remote Northern Territory town of Wadeye

Northern Territory police have arrested six offenders in a crackdown on anti-social behaviour within a remote indigenous community.
During the weekend, two police cars were damaged by members of the troubled Wadeye community, about 400 kilometres from Darwin.

Three officers were assaulted and one officer used capsicum spray and fired several warning shots as part of police efforts to re-establish public order.
Last month officers were assaulted with steel bars and rocks during brawls in the township.
