Queensland's busiest highway has reopened after a two-metre sinkhole was repaired.
The sinkhole opened up on the Bruce Highway between Bowen and Proserpine in north Queensland on Wednesday night, causing the busy road to be closed in both directions.
A Department of Main Roads spokesman said repairs had been completed on the "large pothole" on Thursday morning.
