UPDATE: 'Mother and two children' killed in Queensland car crash

Three people killed in a car crash south of the Sunshine Coast have reportedly been identified as a mother and two children.

Police were called to Mooloolah Connection Road at Glenview, south of the Sunshine Coast, around 9pm after the car left the road and hit a tree.

Three people were pronounced dead at the scene, while one person is in a serious condition and one reportedly suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police have reportedly said the scene was "confronting" for emergency services.
