Reward for Sydney man who 'disappeared off the face of the earth' 15 years ago
More than 15 years ago Sydney man Simon Knight "disappeared off the face of the earth".
He was last seen at the Crown City Motel in Surry Hills on the morning of Thursday July 21, 2005.
"It's hard on all the family, his brother and sister, everyone suffered," his father Bob Knight said.
"Simon wouldn't just disappear".
The reward for information on Simon McKnight, who vanished in 2005 in Sydney, has risen to $250,000. 9News
Today police announced a $250,0000 reward for any information on Mr Knight, as his distraught parents say they still have no idea what happened to him.
Superintendent Andrew Holland from NSW Police said detectives are just as perplexed about his disappearance.
"He has...basically just disappeared of the face of the earth.
"We're at the end of the investigation, we've exhausted all our avenues and that is why we are appealing for public assistance at this time .

Mr Knight was working as a chef, had many friends and was planning a big career change.
He was a regular on the Oxford Street bar strip and although there have been reported sightings, every one of them has come to nothing.
His parents don't believe they will ever see their son again, but they still want answers.
"I don't want to die not knowing what actually happened to him...it's the worst thing a parent could go through."
