Siblings missing overnight Melbourne's north found

Two young siblings have been found after they went missing in Melbourne's north.

Seven-year-old Zoe and 11-year-old Christian from Ivanhoe were last seen in near Mernda Train Station about 3.30pm yesterday.

Police and family were concerned for the children's welfare due to their age, but fortunately they were confirmed to be found this afternoon.

The circumstances around how and why they disappeared remain unknown.
