Shot fired into Sydney home narrowly misses people inside

A shot has been fired into a home in Sydney's west as four people sat inside.

Police say the shot was fired into the home on Delgarno Street in Bonnyrigg just before 8pm yesterday.

Three adults and a teenager were inside the home at the time, but were uninjured.

It is unclear whether the shots were fired by someone on foot or from a vehicle.

Forensic specialists visited the home this morning and a crime scene has been established.
