Shorten appoints new chief of staff

Opposition Leader Bill Shorten has appointed former Queensland ALP state secretary Cameron Milner as his chief of staff.
Mr Shorten announced the appointment to the Labor caucus in Canberra on Tuesday.
Mr Milner has 25 years experience in the Labor party and was campaign director for two election landslides in Queensland in 2001 and 2004.
