Shooters and fishers contest Eden-Monaro
Minor parties are coming out of the woodwork to contest the Eden-Monaro by-election.
The Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party are running a candidate in the electorate for the first time - and only the second time in a federal seat.
Matthew Stadtmiller wants people to remember forgotten bushfire victims when they go to the polls on July 4.
The minor party is hoping to score up to 10 per cent of the vote and believes its preferences could dictate the final outcome.
The Greens have announced Bega Valley Shire councillor Cathy Griff as its candidate.
Ms Griff has previously worked for the peak social services body and is campaigning on a platform of climate action.
The by-election follows the resignation of Labor MP Mike Kelly.
Kristy McBain will contest the seat for Labor while Fiona Kotvojs is the Liberal candidate.
