Sheep truck blaze closes road in country South Australia, killing at least 30 sheep

Dozens of sheep have perished in a truck fire overnight. 

Rescuers worked desperately to save the remaining 350 sheep after a truck carrying them burst into flames at 2am today on Redbanks Road in Mallala, north of Adelaide. 

The road was closed for several hours this morning as RSPCA crews worked to manage the sheeps' welfare.
