A man bitten by a shark while bodysurfing in Queensland has been taken to hospital in a stable condition.
The man, aged in his 50s, suffered multiple bite wounds to his lower right leg and ankle in the attack near Yandaran, north of Bundaberg, about 4.20pm yesterday.

Paramedics treated the man at the beach, before he was taken to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The remote beach near Yandaran is not patrolled by surf lifesavers.
