Sex Party targets cabinet ministers
AAP
The Sex Party will target the seats of two cabinet ministers at the next federal election in a bid to stop a Christian lobby group being treated as a charity.
The party will run candidates in the Victorian seat of Higgins, held by Assistant Treasurer Kelly O'Dwyer, and the West Australian seat of Pearce, held by Social Services Minister Christian Porter, who are responsible for the regulation of charities.
The Sex Party wants the Australian Christian Lobby stripped of its charity status, following its "aggressive" campaign against the anti-bullying Safe Schools program.
