Police catch missing sex offender

Police have located a registered sex offender who was missing for more than three months in Melbourne.

Darren McDonald, 53, was found in the city’s inner-south today, Victoria Police announced this afternoon.

“We will not be providing any further information,” the official statement said.

A search for McDonald was launched yesterday after he failed to notify police of his current residential address.
