Police are on the hunt for a serious registered sex offender who has ditched his GPS tracker.
Christopher Empey, 46, is required to wear a GPS bracelet as part of his obligations under the Serious Offenders Act.
The bracelet has been removed and located in Baddiginnie in Victoria's north east.
Police believe Empey may be in the Mansfield area, however they have been unable to locate him.
It is believed Empey may be riding a yellow 2005 Suzuki DR650 motorcycle registration GD531.
Anyone who sights Empey is urged to contact triple zero immediately.
