Senior Victorian police officer charged with rape
A Victorian police officer has been arrested on rape charges following a probe by the Professional Standards Command.
The Senior Constable from the Eastern Region, who has not been identified, was charged on summons this afternoon, accused of numerous sexual offences including rape and sexual assault.
He is expected to face court on May 21.

“The member is currently suspended with pay,” Victoria Police said in an official statement.
