Senate wants govt wind farm response

The crossbench has won Senate support to urge the government to respond to a parliamentary inquiry into wind farms.

The inquiry reported on the potential health impacts of wind turbines in December last year and the government hasn't responded within the three-month timeframe.

The eight crossbench senators teamed up on Monday to urge the government to table its response by May 10.
