AAP
A Senate committee will investigate allegations of water theft from the Murray-Darling Basin.
The Senate voted on Wednesday to establish the inquiry, due to report in December, while also demanding documents from Water Minister Barnaby Joyce relating to the basin plan.
The inquiry will look at the actions of authorities in responding to allegations of corruption and the potential undermining of the Murray-Darling Basin plan.
