Man falls to his death off cliff near Seacliff Bridge

A young man has died after falling more than 40 metres to his death from a cliff south of Sydney.

Emergency services were called to the southern end of the Seacliff Bridge in Clifton about 12.40pm following reports a man had fallen onto rocks.

It is believed the man, aged in his 20s, was with friends when he slipped from the edge of the cliff and fell.

A Police Rescue crew were sent to the popular lookout location and found the man dead at the scene.

A crime scene was established near the bridge as police worked to retrieve the man’s body.
