Scuba divers rescued from Vic coast

A search is underway for a man missing in a broken down boat off Victoria's east coast after two scuba divers who had been aboard the vessel were found ashore.

Water Police were called after the male and female divers were reported missing off Wilson's Promontory at 2pm (AEDT).

The experienced divers were found at Leonard's Bay at 4pm and taken to hospital.

A man is still on the broken down boat, which police are searching for in Whisky Bay.
